Area Sales Manager Germany-Austria- Switzerland (“DACH”) and Benelux+UK+Scandinavia For Kaneka’s Foam Plastics Division Your Function As an Area Sales Manager you are responsible, withing your region, for: - Maintaining, supporting, and developing direct B2B business between Kaneka Foam Plastics and its customers (mainly companies that mold particle foams based on EPP or EPE). This includes making offers and following them up to closure. - Ensuring volume and margin growth targets, business development opportunities, and relevant sales objectives are met. - Helping define and realize the sales strategy and tactics. - Together with the technical team, developing innovative applications for our materials with automotive OEMs or Tier suppliers, diverse brand owners in various industries. This includes the development of our revolutionary "Green Planet" material, which is biodegradable, microplastics-free, and can be used in a multitude of industrial or consumer applications. - Ensuring follow-up on forecasts, credit lines, complaints, and relevant reporting. Your Profile - Preferably a Masters degree in Engineering, Bachelors’ degree in Engineering, or comparable by experience - Initiative-taking, autonomous, communicative person with a strong drive to succeed - Open to innovate processes and products and to challenge the status quo - Hands-on and teamplay mentality - Willing to travel up to 30% of time in the designated region - English is a must. For the DACH function, fluency in German or native German speaker is required.
