Currently we are looking for candidates in Germany for the following position: Field Development Engineer (m/f/d) - Auto Future Mobility (Germany) Responsibilities Drive opportunity pipeline creation and commercialization in the Automotive segments e-powertrain and driver assist systems primarily in Germany / Austria Develop value propositions and provide solutions to customers, based on their needs and CTQs Leverage internal resources (Program Management, Field Tech Service, Account and OEM Managers, etc.) to successfully execute customer projects Meet with customers to understand their specific needs and surface project ideas for solutions to SFDC. Execute approved projects in alignment with CE project execution process Provide engineering expertise using personal background and proper engagement of EM resources such as IPT and FTS, etc. Develop value propositions and actively assist the commercial team in explaining value propositions to customers Understand the performance of EM materials and map to the parts/requirements per assigned segment to identify where CE can get into yielding the most value Support introduction and sale of new products to customers Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Plastics Engineering or Mechanical Engineering 4-5 years professional automotive experience in application development Proven application expertise in the Automotive electronics applications and profound experience working with Automotive Tiers and OEMs Proven plastics expertise with emphasis on Polyamide Proven track record in engaging others in a complex matrix organization to successfully execute projects Proven track record of proactively building collaborative relationships with customers Strong business acumen - Knows how business works; anticipates and adopts trends and innovations and can transform them into value propositions Confident and convincing appearance Takes initiative and manages execution Fluent in English and German, third European language of benefit We offer: a dynamic and intercultural work environment flat hierarchies a strong team work mindset across departments flexible working options an additional 13th salary & holiday allowance company pension insurance Learn more at
