Job Summary
Responsible for process improvement, standard cost, and production variance analysis. Maintaining and setting process parameters to safeguard Quality Standards and Cost efficiency. Responsible for scale up and process testing plan and procedure, data analysis, and communication of results. Primary contact with Manufacturing and R&D for writing and communication of production specifications.
Essential Functions
Analyze and initiate corrective actions for production improvements
Maintain and adjust Process parameters in the ERP system
Investigation of production cost variances and root course analysis
Coordinates with R&D partners to establish quality and testing conditions for established Avient products
Participate in development of scale up, process testing plan and procedure, data analysis, and/or communication of results.
Documentation and preparation of product specifications for manufacturing Avient products.
Participates in resolution of plant production issues.
Utilizes proven project management methods and skills to plan and execute a full range of project sizes and scopes.
Initiate improvement suggestions of our extruder lines and related equipment.
Commissioning of new lines including training documentation and stuff instruction.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience
Technical degree (technician or similar)
Experience in extrusion and compounding required
Experience in injection molding
Advanced knowledge with thermoplastics / thermoplastic elastomers, plastic materials resins and additives
Additional Qualifications
Fluent German and English required
Advanced skills in project management; knowledge of project management tools seen as plus
Experience in Lean production and continuous improvement process
Experience with SAP (R3) and Microsoft office tools
Physical Demands
Occasionally lifting weight up to 25 kg
