Petrochemical and Refining Congress: Europe 2024 (PRC Europe)

Decarbonisation and Defossilisation — these are the 2 main words that define the industry movement in all the aspects: economic, technological and strategic. As the major companies face the Energy Trilemma, refiners and Petrochemical companies have to deal with the changing and growing demand for clean, low-carbon, and circular products. The question of the Energy Transition remains critical, and will continue to be at the centre of discussion among the industry players as they deal with uncertainties of how to reduce EU emissions by at least 55% by 2030, what steps have already been taken by each company, and which measures can be deployed.

For the 8th time the Downstream industry players will meet at PRC Europe to define the strategies and technological perspectives to Lead Downstream Transformation. The representatives of oil companies, EPC contractors, refineries and petrochemical plants, chemical companies, licensors, service providers and equipment manufacturers will announce and disclose the topics of industry decarbonisation, CCS and hydrogen, alternative fuels production, evolution of existing assets, and more.
